Career guidance is a formal way for people to receive advice on their career at different stages. Along with this advice, this process often involves formal programs that help people both plan and execute any decisions they make in their career. Professionals in career development often create generalized programs or custom programs for individuals to help each person through these changes.

In India, awareness, and information about various career options available to students passing out of school are limited. The culture of going to a career advisor is almost non-existent.

  Proper counselling for career-related questions would help you understand your core interest areas, aptitudes, and personalities; would empower you to distinguish between your strengths and weaknesses, and most importantly would allow you to explore multi-career options before you choose the right career path.

  Take a look at each of the groups who benefit from career guidance and counselling programs:

  1. Class 9^th and 10^th students: Students of class 9^th and 10^th who are at the edge of making the most vital career decision i.e. of choosing a stream to pursue for higher education benefit the most. Taking professional career guidance after 12^th and counselling programs early on in life secures a student’s career and helps him/ her in making the right carer choices.
     
  2. Class 11^th and 12^th students: Students at this phase struggle a lot and often feel pressurised to make career choices based on others’ opinions. The best way to beat these challenges and realize one’s maximum potential is by taking help from professional career counselling services.
